When I was 22 I packed two suitcases and a backpack and moved across the ocean from Switzerland to the United States. After living in Los Angeles for 15 years and working in a myriad of jobs, from Dog Daycare attendant, Shipping Clerk, Movie Extra to Office Assistant, I decided to leave the city behind and get back to rural living. By happenstance I found an island archipelago in the Pacific Northwest and decided to settle on the main island (for now). I now lead a quiet life in a single wide in the woods and I am being visited by wildlife on a daily basis. I re-discovered my inner country girl and I am absolutely loving it. When I am not working at the local organic Lavender Farm, or taking care of pets and livestock, I am exploring the trails and beaches of “my” island, together with my two dogs (and sometimes my partner, too). I discovered a passion for kayaking and I love to sit and watch nature go by, dabble in photography and I am a Reiki Master.
Thank you for visiting! Enjoy! 🙂
